Yep. Seasons Greeting to all my VMS/OpenVMS buddies.

p.s. Any word on the release of OpenVMS-9.2-2 ??

The current roadmap shows H2 CY2023 but I do not see them (or anybody) doing a big release over the holidays

[...]
The "VMS Software Monthly Product Updates" from Dec 15th mentioned:

"The OpenVMS 9.2-2 release, initially planned for December, is now set
for January to give R&D and QA sufficient time to incorporate the
extensive feedback reported during the field test. Your participation in
the V9.2-2 field test is greatly appreciated. Ensuring the quality of
the release is VMS Software’s top priority."

So stay tuned...

Note that this is a good example of quality being more important than the schedule.

I respect their delay. It is better to get things right rather than release a bug-ridden piece of crap.

I wonder how they are doing with Basic...

It has not been released yet.

It seems like they have prioritized fixing bugs in already
released compilers over getting Basic released.
